Repair tip
Been through a few of these… they work well at first, but eventually they get stiff and hard to use. After a few uses in that state the handle breaks when trying to open or close the valve. Anyway, today I took apart one I had that was no longer working well, and I found it was actually pretty easy to make it move smoothly again. I popped the white lever handle off of the blue body with a butter knife (easier to do in the “closed” position), gave all elements a good clean, and then pressed it all back together. Voila! It’s working well again. It may not last forever, but at least I’ll get a bit more mileage out of it.

Works adequately
Same as the old one! The one design drawback is that the plastic handle eventually cracks with use. But, the original one lasted for several years of steady use, so I can’t complain too much.

Shut off lever broke off
To be fair it happened after a full year of use, but eventually the shut off lever broke off in the middle (you have to put a lot of pressure on it to change the position). It seems to be a common issue, maybe a design change is required?

Good idea, poor execution
I'd like to like this valve, but it very quickly became too hard to shut on and off. The "extra big" knob to open/close the valve broke and can no longer be turned. The plastic used it pretty flimsy. A product like this should not break after a few months of use.

Valve improvement
The original valve on the Evo was very difficult to operate, caused the lever to tear. Prior to replacing it, I read similar reviews and hesitated to order a new valve. Glad I did, new lever operates very smoothly.
